Pros

Great pay if you know how to sell. Depending on where you work you get to work alongside awesome coworkers!

Cons

HORRIBLE UPPER MANAGEMENT! Do not get me started on how unfair they treat you! Just because you are new, shouldn’t mean they should treat you any less of a person right? I had quit prime communications at one point because of personal problems. When I got rehired I was promised to work in one location due to my situation, when I started working I got moved to another location to “train” 2 weeks passed by and they moved me to another location not only a new place but a whole other district, with a promise that I would permanently stay there. A week later they called to say I was moving to a new location. I told them I was done moving locations, I was promised so many things and nothing was ever done for me. I told them why the move was even necessary, I was getting move to much with in the first month, the district manager’s best response was “ seniority” Keep In mind I been with AT&T for more than a year. And just because I’m a re hire I have no say in ANY of the promises i received since the hire date? I got tired of them treating me like I didn’t matter. So I put in my two weeks, and once I did I had a specific day on when my last day would be. The next day he came told me that the regional manager told him to end my two weeks a day after I submitted my request. Now if i read the handbook correctly. EVERYBODY has the right to leave at the exact time they say they will, nothing less. Maybe it’s only in Chicago where they play this crap! I don’t know about other states, but if you are applying in the Chicago area stay away from the north side district period! If you do go there, good luck! Hope they don’t treat you the same way they treated me and other coworkers I talked to.

Pros

Great for first timers into the sales industry Plenty of ways to make a decent income* if you can sell A good place to get your feet wet and learn some decent sales tactics They hold monthly contest to make extra money If you are a top performer you get moved up quickly

Cons

Prime finds anyway they can to take or reduce your commission check Prime Directly commits fraud against AT&T's compliance policies Prime encourages shady salesmanship and sales tactics Prime has MANAGERS, not LEADERS big difference Prime claims to have a "Culture" but the only culture they care about is money Prime does not pay out any remaining commission on leaving the company (such a scam). Check your state commission and labor laws as you can most likely take Prime to civil court for your remaining checks. Prime has little to no character and integrity Prime really does not care about their staff

Pros

You can get promoted to store manager pretty quickly because people are constantly quitting.

Cons

When they bought out our former company they told us we’d all be making more money but everyone lost money. They pressure you to commit fraud and set impossibly high quotas that you can’t hit unless you are scamming your customers. And when you don’t hit quota you get written up. If you speak up they demote you. If you quit you forfeit 2-3 months worth of commission, even if you give 2 weeks notice. Stores are understaffed but sales reps aren’t allowed to get paid overtime so managers have to work 9-10 hour shifts but then get written up for having too much overtime themselves.
