Pros

Initially the team and leadership were great. I was excited to come to work everyday and work with individuals who wanted to change healthcare and make it better. I learned a lot from my mentors, but that was not long lasting. The company decided to get rid of great talent and move up in-experienced individuals to lead a team that they had no idea how to lead. Pros are the some of the benefits, but the pros end there - free health insurance, free dental and vision, and matching of retirement. Not much more to add to the Pros. If the leaders and team that started the company / medical group was still there, this place would have been my top place to work.

Cons

Where to start.... low pay and they take advantage of people with great talent. They do not care about the best interest or growth of their employees. Hours are long and work continues outside of the office. The doctors and offices that are part of the medical group are not always the friendliest, but who can blame them since they are being sold lies and are getting caught in a trap that will ultimately make them lose money at the end of the day. Culture...there is absolutely no culture. There is no work-life-balance at all. Overall, not a healthy place to work. Bottom line, they do not care about their employees and are only looking out for themselves and the business. I would not recommend this place as a top choice to work. Getting the "Best Places to Work" is a total lie and should not fool anyone in accepting an offer.

Pros

Amazing dynamic work culture. Entrepreneurial and looking to change healthcare. Tons of happy hours, health initiatives (they paid for all of my 10K, mud runs, marathons last year!) Senior management are accessible and understanding. I joined Privia when they were a complete start up in Georgetown. The people that work for this company are some of the most committed, smartest, and dedicated people I have ever worked with.

Cons

Still a start up, figuring some stuff out, strap in ! If you are patient and like-minded you will love it here. The negative reviews on this website are the people that want to be employee 1276 at some big company and just cant adapt to being proactive. Privia is a place where you HAVE to have a start up mentally, work hard, shine and you will be rewarded.

Pros

Named a 2015 Washington Post Top Workplace and cited in the New York Times as a firm on pace for a $1B valuation, Privia Health is a unique high performance healthcare organization. Values: - Privia’s ethos have resulted in a collaborative organization that collectively views everyday life at Privia as a vocation, or a calling, rather than a job with a set of responsibilities that must be fulfilled in exchange for compensation. - Interpersonal understanding, caring, and perspective-taking are evident at all levels of the organization. - You get the sense that you’re a part of something special at Privia, and that the future of healthcare will be defined by the work currently being done. It feels empowering to have a role on a friendly, collaborative team with such a mindset. People: - Privia has A+ talent, and the firm’s many successes have resulted from acing recruiting and all things people related. Privia treats employees, or Privia Partners, extremely well through generous cash and benefit compensation, vast professional growth opportunities, social outings, and a superb company culture. - Trust among team members, a sense of group identity, and group efficacy are extremely high at Privia because the senior leadership team has set the conditions necessary for the team to build deep, lasting, and mutually beneficial relationships across and up the organization. - Employees enjoy relationships at Privia because the company makes it a point to slow down via team lunches, open forum discussions with senior leadership, and a plethora of fun team-building activities. Summary: - Privia has the concepts to excel, the people to deliver, and the culture to effectively mold the low-cost, high-quality healthcare experience patients deserve. The success is telling.

Cons

None that aren't inherent to fast growing, relatively young organizations; namely office space.
