Pros

-Industry that helps people: mental health -Acceptable medical/dental benefits

Cons

-Offshoring and layoffs, despite high profits, especially of long-term employees with deep institutional knowledge -Frequent leadership and ownership turnover -Serial mergers causing personnel, technology, and working situation chaos -Culture getting steadily worse over time (The CEO knew everyone's name 6 years ago, now I don't even know his) -Bad salary ranges -Uncertainty and instable working conditions due to above-listed issues

Pros

Health coverage, FSA, Remote work

Cons

Pay is lower than the market, They've changed the PTO policy, they don't payout in all states. They require travel, but your salary is so low, you can barely afford to travel and wait to get reimbursed. The senior managers bring their personal life into work and take it out on the team. Senior managers really care more about being in a clique. If you are not in the "cool crowd" don't expect to get a raise or any praise for your work.

Pros

lots of remote work possibilities. decent pay to start, but the cards are stacked to keep you from getting much increase or bonus at all from then on.

Cons

ever increasing work and responsibility with ever decreasing time to get it done coupled with plenty of criticism if clients are not happy with the corners that have to be cut. lack of communication between departments make it even more stressful.
