Pros

great team culture, lots of work with kids, ability to oversee adult tutors, great for recent college grads

Cons

low pay, expectation to work 50+ hours per week during busy season, no paid time off/or time off in general (other than select holidays), if you're an AmeriCorps member, they'll be sure to constantly remind you of it

Pros

Friendly team, variety of work settings day to day.

Cons

A lot of micromanagement from national leadership and managers. Company is in a growing process around equitable hiring. A lot of staff turnover.

Pros

Reading Partners does great work with students, has a strong (and effective) program, and many dedicated and talented people

Cons

National leadership has been disappointing in a variety of areas. Specifically, there continues to be a lack of transparency and consistency around staff compensation and advancement, as well as failure to appropriately tend to and ensure a healthy org culture.
