Lack of transparency regarding company changes and initiatives (i.e. work from home policy among other massive changes). Lack of progressivism among leadership team. Values are too traditional for a company that claims to be building a "Better Tomorrow". Massive purge of organizational knowledge through forced retirements. Installation of BAT functional heads in every area of the business, thereby eliminating legacy Reynold's talent...how will Reynold's employees be able to envision themselves moving up if all top positions are occupied by BAT natives? Trying to assimilate U.S. based employees into a European work culture, which ultimately DOES NOT work.

Don't work here. I'm surprised I'm finding myself saying that but it is a result of the culture and decisions that BAT has brought to Reynolds. I've been here for over 10 years and the only pay increase I've seen is the annual 3% inflation increase. Which might be fine if our portfolio were the same as it was 10 years ago. I've never seen employee morale this low at any company I've worked for in my entire career. You can't squeeze us to death and expect us to be productive forever. Did I mention there's a global pandemic still happening and I had to make over 200 calls in September? Thank you for that. You can bury me in the beach towel you sent after I die of COVID. They've combined at least 3 separate sales forces over the years so now we're doing what used to be the work of three sales forces and have kept all of that pay for themselves, to reinvest in products we don't know how to market. Like Velo. The bonuses used to be nice but the last few years have provided significantly reduced bonuses. Our entire strategy in the vapor segment turned out to be wait until the PMTA deadline and have the FDA pull our competitor's products from the market. That's the strategy? But then the FDA didn't pull our competitor's products from the market. Great strategy! They couldn't cultivate less confidence in their abilities if they tried. Our competitors pay more than we do and actually care about their employee's health and safety. Go work for one of them. This company is a dumpster fire.
