Pros

As a Site Manager, I have the perfect balance of freedom to be creative in carrying out my own program while still feeling extremely supported and HEARD by upper management. I've only known my co-workers since August, but they feel like family. The school I work at has become a second home and the families I work with continue to bring me so much joy AND challenge me to grow. The company itself is headed in an extremely positive direction in their curriculum, training, and overall organization. The best parts about RAS are the passionate, tenacious, and truly good-hearted people that you'll cross paths and make differences with.

Cons

The company is still young, so they are still finding their way. However, what's cool about this is that you'll feel like your ideas and input are really heard and make a difference, so it makes it (more than) worth it. If you are looking for a company you can grow with, RAS would be a great fit.

Pros

Colleagues and staff were nice people. The students and families being served were great to work with. The curriculum used could be fun.

Cons

The company and upper management were very unorganized and mainly interested in profit for themselves without great benefits or rewards for the staff in the trenches. The pay was lousy considering the amount of work and responsibility they expected employees to assume. Inadequate training.

Pros

It's only been around a few years but continued to improve even during the 9 months I was there. It is a before/after school and recess planning company. The pay is OK for the position, depending how many hours you receive. They pay more than if you were hired by a school district to run their before/after school program. If you are in elementary education or like working with kids, it is a decent job. Good for college student also to receive experience

Cons

curriculum was not very good, but always imporving
