Pros

A lot of good people on the ground who are trying to do their best and make the most out of working for a company that does not deliver on its promises or care about its staff or morale.

Cons

They alternated between being too hands-off and disorganized to micromanaging the smallest details. There is little balance or consistency. In the beginning of the school year there was very little support and a lot of improvisation because the company expanded too quickly, most likely out of greed. As a result the programming suffered and the staff was unduly stressed out. Then things were not going well because of their negligence and lack of foresight so they finally got around to trying to make improvements, very often making changes that were hasty or ill-informed or tactless. They do not seem to care about their staff or about helping them deliver the services to students that the company promises. They continue to cut preparation times for their educators and sometimes have unsafe teacher to student ratios yet expect staff to deliver high quality curriculum and positive experiences without proper assistance, resources or compensation. Some of the administrative and managerial staff are extraordinarily rude and unpleasant. Right at School works very hard to portray a positive image of itself that is not the reality of who they are and what they do. They are lucky their employees who work in the schools for the most part genuinely care about children (and are probably also desperate for any work and income) and are dedicated to the students despite the sub-par conditions and people they often have to work in/with. If you can find other jobs in the education field you should. Check Craigslist and pursue other companies first. The other companies probably pay better too. Don't be fooled by phony smiles, pandering or lofty mission statements.
