Pros

- Good opportunity to work with children and get experience - Day to day, working with educators is enjoyable

Cons

- Upper management is HORRIBLE! They honestly have NO idea what they are doing... they know nothing about children or education - The support given to those actually working in the schools is awful - Parents and school staff were constantly yelling at the Site Director and educators for issues beyond their control. When these issues were relayed to Area Coordinators or upper management they were ignored - Upper management is extremely condescending towards educators and Site Directors - Lesson plans make no sense or have no plausible way to be delivered - The office is SO disorganized! They lost everyone at my sites paperwork and also promised raises and did not deliver. - They actually had people start before their background checks had cleared (Not legal)

Very flexible for scheduling; nice people; great pay

Cons

Not enough training or direction, which is fine but requires individuals to have lots of initiative and agency

Pros

-Great (for the most part) co-workers -Good experience working with kids -Fun, not overly difficult -It's easy to create a schedule that works for you if you have another job -Working with kids puts you in a good mood no matter how crazy the company as a whole is

Cons

-Turnover rates are SKY HIGH, you get a new co-worker at least once a month, a new member of upper management comes in at least every 2-3 months. -Upper management has no idea what's really going on in the schools, doesn't give the proper responsibility to the site directors who work there every day. They're also often extremely condescending and rude to the educators. -Curriculum is horrible, and you get little to no training on how to effectively implement it. -Disorganized upper management-they lost ALL my new hire paperwork 3 separate times and as a result I had to pay twice for an expensive TB test I didn't need. They also emailed me asking for my references....when I had been working with the company for over a year, and had (I assume) reviewed my references BEFORE I was hired...right?
