Pros

Good coworkers, reasonably good benefits.

Cons

Remote work removed from possibilities. Valued short term gains over long term performance. Speed mattered more than security or functionality. CEO and "senior management" has no policy control. Everything is handed down from Amazon. It is portrayed as separate, but is not in all but the most superficial ways.

Pros

- Good and smart people to work with - Work on products that are used by millions - Opportunity to solve technical challenges and make a difference

Cons

- All employees are resources only, NOT HUMAN RESOURCES. - For the above reason, there is no HR. - Higher management has no vision - Technical management is lacking. Managers want only show off in emails not real technical solutions. - Over reliance and pressure to use AI as a panacea
