My experience at Root Insurance has been marred by unsettling revelations regarding executive misconduct and compensation practices. Additionally, while the CEO enjoys a staggering 4-million-dollar salary, coupled with hefty bonuses, the approval of yearly layoffs affecting 20% of the workforce is disheartening. This stark contrast between executive compensation and the impact on employees raises significant concerns about the company's priorities and fairness. These revelations have left me deeply disillusioned and questioning the company's commitment to its employees' well-being and ethical business practices.

Toxic upper management. Huge boys club. Lack of diversity, terrible inattentive recruiting process. Hired dozens of people to look good on paper for investments just to lay them off 8 weeks later. Genuinely this place will never be profitable and they know it. C-suite is keeping the lights on as long as possible collecting their checks.
