Pros

-Can be very flexible on hours and availability - Well rounded Marketing department which is rare in small/medium today. Usually marketing services are just outsourced to agencies today. - Had the ability to work closely with CEO, other executives, in a team, independently, and with individuals from other departments. - Printfly uses top of the line tools and technology for marketing. It was great to learn and practice new marketing trends. - The ability to take part in interesting events such as sporting events and live concerts as brand reps for the company. - Constantly growing company. When I started there were about 150 employees and I left at about 200. - Young and fun coworkers - Fast paced and energetic - Fun company events

Cons

At the time I was there the company was transitioning from a family owned business with a lot of family drama into a more organized and professional business. During my time there: - Very low pay - Very unorganized - My position was very ambiguous. I worked in sales, customer service, digital marketing, event coordinating or anything ownership wanted me to do... It didn't make any sense. I never grasped what my job really was. In a company with over 100 employees that is completely unnecessary and confusing. - I had ZERO training. I learned everything as it was assigned to me. From my understanding that was how it was until around the time I left. I have heard training is good now. - There were very little internal systems. From my understanding that has been fixed.

Pros

Close to home so the commute is only 10 minutes.

Cons

When your there you are a slave. Owners flaunt their toys in front of you, gotten from your sweat. Pay is way too low and they show up whenever they want to. Not a good example.

A place that I have seen grow, and got to grow with

Pros

My coworkers - I work with some of the most charismatic, hard-working, creative, driven people I have ever met. I am proud to stand by them each and every day and grow as a team. I have seen this company make leaps and bounds in progress. I have seen it rise from a company of 60 to now 250 strong. We have all come so far in such a short period of time, we should be proud. We put in long hours, we found creative ways to solve a problem that seemed impossible, we reached every goal that we have set for ourselves. I have worked closely with ownership and they have given me tools to use for success that I have been able to pass onto others as well. I believe we have one of the best company cultures in the Philadelphia area. I have worked for other large organizations and I have never experienced the kind of work environment that I do here, everyday. When a last minute rush order that can make or break a customers event comes in, you can see the care people put into getting it right and getting it there on time. Again, it comes back to the people. We take pride in our work and make sure to give our customers exceptional products. Our building looks amazing with all of the renovations. The machinery and computers we have are above industry standards. But what truly makes this place stick out for me is our people. They work hard, they are devoted, they care. That makes all the difference in the world in a company.

Cons

Having a lot of people come on board at once last year broke down some communication between departments, but I know it is something we are all working toward improving everyday. With more training, and more efficient processes, communication will clear up and become a part of our foundation. I would like to address some of the reviews I have seen on here that do not shed us in the most positive light. I feel bad they did not have the same experience as myself and the other people who work for our company. I truly believe they were just not a good fit, and that is OK. Your position and your work is completely dependant upon your potential and how much you utilize it. Your destiny is in your hands. No one in the company is going to ignore someone who has brilliant ideas, helps people, makes things more efficient, is productive and does it with a smile. As for the turn around mentioned in other reviews, last year we did have some people leave in upper management and I think it was best for the company. We have the right people in the right positions now. I believe the employees are already strong and leadership will only continue to get stronger and support them.
