Steer clear of SHI

Pros

- people starting up here are all able to bond about how much little they make at the beginning - great way to break into sales but don't stay around (recommend you stay around here for 1-2 years max then go somewhere else)

Cons

- absolute meat grinder of a sales org, remarkably low base salary ($40k) for account executives and you only make money off of gross margin, not revenue which is peanuts - They give you really bad accounts to work with that have rejected SHI in the past or have to start from the bottom up so you naturally are stuck with making only your base for months on end unless you're really lucky - have no access to useful sales tool like other sales orgs (really bad CRM system, no way to get direct numbers to prospects, and a manual email system) - company culture is toxic, everyone wants to leave here and is trying to leave to other companies - a lot of reps here try to steal other reps's accounts

Pros

They have free food sometimes. Office nice

Cons

Outdated technology, which is funny cause we are a tech company. 3 days RTO is annoying cause we can literally do all this from our homes Micro time management- take me back to my middle school days when I was yelled at for packing up a minute early. Yes they will get upset if you even think about closing your laptop before 5pm. The pay is horrible for this area. $40K a year is a slap in the face.

Pros

Experience in the tech industry.

Cons

No new leads Low base Micromanagement Quota pushes out great sellers after 3 years. Bad leadership/no true business sense in decisions. Ex. 15 dials a day for only 10 accounts. Comp plan restructures to pay you less each year.
