Pros

-Great Peers: Everyone is welcoming and helpful when it comes to sharing their best practices, expanding on product knowledge and processes -Great direct managers: Actually care about their reps and their success. They strive to be as transparent as possible and routinely meet with their reps to help them improve and be successful -Generous PTO

Cons

-Poor comp plan: The commission plan changed a few months ago to where if you're at the lower end of quota, you don't get as much. This makes zero sense because every opportunity is an opportunity nonetheless. Reps shouldn't be punished for not being able to hit the higher half of quota when there are not enough to go around in the first place. They excused this change by saying that it rewards the top reps, but top reps would get rewarded either way. They say that this is to motivate low performing reps to book more, but don't they think that reps would want to book as many as they want in general? Literally 80% or more of the reps are not hitting quota. I think this says a lot about how unattainable it is. -Communication: Changes are constantly happening to the point where tenured and new employees are confused. Sometimes the changes are not communicated well; I've personally had to hear of certain changes through other reps. This leads to confusion and mistakes, and ends up falling on the fault of the rep. These changes aren't put on a document where it can be easily referenced. We get well over 40 emails a day so any email about new processes gets easily buried. -Upper management: Micromanages so much. Every day we get a message regarding our dials but I think we know what we need to do to succeed. What a way to start the day. The new Sr. Manager told us he was not a dials guy only to turn around a month later with constant pressure to hit a certain amount of dials everyday. I understand this is part of our job description, but with a whole new tech stack and tools taken away from us (such as our power dialer), it takes time to adjust and get back into momentum. It seems like now that we've lost the dialer, we are expected to become dialing bots. Killed the morale of the department. -Feeling undervalued: The expectations are extremely high. It seems like once we hit certain goals/expectations, the message that we receive is "Nice job, now let's top that." This leads to burnout and stress and is not very motivational because it feels like nothing we do is enough.

Pros

Sage Intacct furnishes pipeline for their sales reps so prospecting is minimal. This is what differentiates Sage Intacct from other sales jobs I’ve had.

Cons

Things at Sage Intacct have gone downhill since rolling up under Sage corporate. Intacct used to operate separately for the first few years after being acquired by Sage but big changes have come the last year and as a result the company is losing a lot of top talent.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to know that you have found it more fulfilling to be in sales under Sales Intacct in comparison to other sales jobs you have had. We appreciate your candid remarks and would like to encourage you to continue to have faith in us for it shall become even clearer that all the changes that have been taking place, none of which have been without very careful consideration of all factors and consequences involved, have been for the betterment of all our colleagues and Sage in general.
