Pros

Work from Home Great energy from Leadership all the way to the newest members of the team. Work/Life balance is not just a phrase, They live it every day! Training (all kinds) is available to everyone if they want it. As a entirely remote workforce, SalesRoads strives to bring everyone together through Town Hall Meetings, Virtual Water Cooler (yes to non-work related conversations with other employees), Game Days, Shout Outs and lots of events to involve everyone across the company.

Cons

Not really a "Con" but being remote, you don't get to meet everyone in person.

Pros

This is a remote position.

Cons

SalesRoads hires employees on a "contract" basis, which is not specified during the interview or hiring process. If the client cancels (and they are not under contract), you will lose your job with no warning. Management will say they will "try" to place you on another account, but all accounts are fully staffed. If you are doing well on your account (meaning too much commission), you risk being pulled off that account and being put on another failing account (because "you are so good at what you do"). If your desperate for a job, take it, don't stop job hunting.

SalesRoads DOES NOT hire U.S.-based SDRs on a “contract” basis. U.S. SDR roles are W-2 positions through our PEO. In some countries, different worker classifications may apply based on local requirements, but that is separate from how U.S. SDR employment is structured. On job security, SDR work is tied to active client programs, and SalesRoads is a performance-driven environment. When a program changes or ends, we work to redeploy reps into other openings when there is a mutual fit. With roughly 40 active client programs running at any given time, we are typically able to find a new home for reps who are actively contributing and meeting expectations. In the last six months, there were two instances where redeployment was not possible due to timing and program-fit requirements. It is also not accurate that strong performers are removed from accounts because they earn “too much commission.” High performance is valued and recognized, and program moves are driven by client needs, coverage requirements, and where a rep is most likely to succeed. For additional context, tenure across our SDR population is strong. Approximately 44% of this group has been with SalesRoads for 3+ years, including team members with 9+ years of service. We encourage candidates to read a range of reviews over time and ask direct questions during interviews about employment classification, program stability, ramp expectations, and how redeployment works so they can make an informed decision. Pros

I don't have any pros

Cons

SDRs Stay Away Tons of Micro Management, Waste Our Valuable Time & the Stated Salary + Commission Turns Out To Be Super Low. No Wonder There Is Such HIGH TURNOVER. Then they insult valuable SDRs with some crew buck to buy some weird stuff Very insulting!

Some specifics in this post do not align with the tools and programs we use today. In our December 2025 anonymous Pulse Survey, approximately 1 to 2% of employees reported feeling micromanaged. When we review those comments in detail, they most often align with active performance coaching situations in which structure and call review are temporarily increased. On performance expectations, not everyone hits quota, but a significant number of people do. In Q4, across roughly 40 active client programs, we saw 75 instances of quota attainment. In Q3, across roughly 37 programs, we saw 63 instances of quota attainment. Results vary by program, tenure, and ramp, but quota achievement is a regular outcome here, not an exception. In the same December 2025 survey, about 85% of employees reported feeling supported by their manager, and around 90% described SalesRoads as a fun place to work. We encourage candidates to review a range of feedback over time and ask direct questions during the interview process so they can make an informed decision.
