Pros

The people that you work around everyday are wonderful, but outside of that, they don't even know who you are.

Cons

Low compensation and lack of training

Pros

Training is great. Everyone works together as a team. Atmosphere is friendly. PTO is good. Hours are somewhat flexible, and they understand when you need off. Comp time is also available if you don't want to use PTO. I hated to leave, but I moved.

Cons

Pay is a bit low for what you are doing. Raises are minimal, 2% is max, which doesn't even keep up with the cost of living increases. Other than the PTO, the benefits are average, with the medical being a bit on the expensive side

Pros

The joint venture of select medical and BSW has created growth opportunities both professional and educationally. Wonderful support from team and regional director!

Cons

Typical annual training type things but just more of an annoyance. No other cons really

Pros

Good hours, good training, loved most of my coworkers.

Cons

High turn over rate. Most employees are less than two years except management. They will use you to do their dirty work then fire you for bogus reasons. Management is the only employees that have been there for more than 2 years in the PAR dept. If you aren't part of the clique then watch out.

Pros

Great training, good upward mobility, good continuing education support

Cons

Little care for preventable employee injuries, talk big game about safety but don't follow through, put employees in harm, keep patients against their will for insurance money, falsify documentation to keep insurance paying. Overworked, understaffed, expected to sacrifice everything, little attention to work life balance, little attention to how many shifts employees are working in a row.
