Pros

The customers. I really enjoy helping them. My co workers are great.

Cons

The changes are scary. Hear a lot about all these good things coming and we don’t see that on the front lines. Sooo much upper management that have never worked with jewelry in anyway. Huge disconnect between upper management and front line staff. Very evident that the front line people are disposable. No communication!!

Pros

For managers, the pay structure was ehh...some of the people were fun, most were not. 20 word minimum for pros list. If I could give less than one star I would.

Cons

The list is long long long...first off, I was “promoted” to manager and hauled across country to do so. I had several opportunities for Zales stores around my home state, but was promised the world in a different state. I was lied to about how many employees I had and how bad of shape the store I was headed to was. As time went on, I began noticing blame being heaped onto me for things that happened in previous years before I was even there! Here’s the deal, I could go on and on about the cons of working for Signet (Zales, Kays, Jared’s, Piercing Pagoda, etc) but the bottom line is, if you have no personal life and want your relationships to suffer, then management at Signet is for you. If you want to be respected as a human being and not forced to suffer for other people’s mistakes, then avoid at all costs. I’m not alone. Look at the reviews here. The good reviews are from the brainwashed people that make it miserable to work here. It’s a disaster company that is treading water and will eventually come to drown. Get out while you can, and avoid at all cost.

Pros

You won’t make enough for support housing or even renting. No one wants to work full time because of this low salary. If you think this company is great so why they won’t have enough employees for full time position? This company is good for students who didn’t need skills as well. They even didn’t know how to train their employees how to sell, how to do teamwork or customer service.... every stores has their own problems. Constants play a bad game each other.

Cons

$9/h or $10/h >>> how you can make $40k a year? It’s a joke. No one wants to work for them because of low salaries. That’s why they have to hire every couple months.
