Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear you're having a positive experience. Regarding healthcare costs, we understand this is an important consideration, and we take this concern seriously. Each year, we conduct a thorough review of our health plans to ensure we remain competitive with the market. Currently, our cost-sharing percentage—what employees contribute versus what the company covers—is at or below market standards. We offer three distinct medical plan options; each designed with benefits to meet a variety of employee needs. Our Total Rewards team continuously analyzes claims data and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities to improve plan design and manage rising healthcare costs. In fact, the majority of annual cost increase es are absorbed by the company to help lessen the impact on our employees. We are committed to offering high-quality health plans at competitive rates and will continue to evaluate opportunities for improvement as part of our ongoing Total Rewards strategy. Thank you, again, for your input.

Pros

Everyone is friendly and available for questions.

Cons

When they acquire firms they throw everybody into a department that fits their role without real guidance. Salaries are a little low for the industry.

Thank you for your comment. We appreciate the feedback and are so pleased that you're finding everyone to be friendly and available for questions. We do regular industry benchmarking for compensation to ensure competitive pay and benefits, which we believe has contributed to below industry turnover rates at our organization. We are also very thoughtful about our acquisition integrations, which includes a feedback survey around 90 days post-integration to collect insights on how we can improve this process. We know we can always improve - continuous improvement is one of our four core values! We encourage you to reach out to your Human Resources Business Partner to talk through your concerns. They are ready and eager to help. Thanks again for commenting.

A Learning Experience

Business Outlook

Pros

Good learning opportunity, generally not reprimanded for mistakes. Encouraged to ask questions and propose ideas. Learn a lot about what not to do. Managers do typically stay in the loop and tend to operate with an open-door policy. Managers do try to paint the full picture for us and emphasize the importance of our roles. Can be difficult to get into other departments/positions but it is possible. Unlimited PTO if you're liked enough to not be watched under a magnifying glass. BCBS insurance with great premiums/deductible. Lots of free mental health webinars available.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Can be very draining. Persistent (unpaid) OT. Expected to take on additional, more difficult and time consuming work without increasing pay. Bonus only $500 annually for staff accountants. Raises insultingly low for the work & time put in and do not keep up with rent increases let alone inflation on everything else (I'm talking 1% low). Encouraged to tolerate nonsense and inappropriate behavior from people just because "they've been here forever". Many people can get very unprofessional (not the fun way), including people in HR. Can be cliquey. Some people do micromanage, some undermanage. Many people don't correct their mistakes and leave for others to fix. Overall seems from the turnover in this specific position, the company works people as hard as they can until they burn out then it tries to get them to quit once they can no longer keep that pace up🤷

We take feedback seriously so that we can continually improve our organization, so thank you for your comments. Our recruiting team and hiring managers do their best to set expectations for work hours and workload during the hiring and onboarding process. Positions like staff accountant are considered exempt and salaried and are therefore not subject to overtime pay. If there were issues you felt could not be brought to your immediate HR business partner or your direct manager, we have other avenues such as contacting our CHRO directly, or connecting with our Navex, confidential hotline where an investigation could be conducted. Thank you, again, and we wish you all the best.
