Our culture is built on diversity of thought, backgrounds, and lived experiences. We offer flexible time off (FTO) so that team members can take breaks to focus on their mental, physical, and emotional well-being without having to accrue hours. However, we recognize some roles require team members to coordinate with their manager before taking time off so we can provide world-class support for our clinicians. Pros

SimplePractice has always bent over backwards to let employees know they are valued and important through good times and in bad. I personally witnessed so many difficult social issues where the leadership worked hard to let employees know they weren't alone in dark times. It's a shame that some personalities are going to take issue with the company now that they're showing solidarity with an historically discriminated group and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Cons

Post-IPO SimplePractice is much more bureaucratic and process-oriented than start-up SimplePractice. That's life.

Pros

Great product market fit and opportunity. Great coworkers. Chill environment. Empathetic leaders for the most part. Pay and benefits are pretty good for company size. Remote work. More leaders from mature companies are coming in, which was a welcome change. To scale up, we need people who have done it before, and were lacking that.

Cons

Some non-product departments are constantly aggrieved and complain about everything. The development process is a little outdated and needs to be more modern and agile. We also need more engineers.
