Thank you for sharing your feedback. While I’m disappointed to hear about your experience, I’d like to take this opportunity to address your concerns. At Sovos, culture is at the heart of everything we do. It’s not just a set of values we talk about—it’s something we actively work to bring to life every day. Building and sustaining a strong culture takes ongoing effort, and we’re committed to making sure that every employee feels the positive impact of it. While there is always work to be done, we’re proud that our most recent engagement survey showed that 84% of our employees feel they can be their authentic selves at work. I’m also disheartened to hear that you feel we’re unable to attract top talent. Sovos continues to bring on some of the most talented individuals in the industry. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed many incredible professionals who share our vision and values, and they’ve already made a meaningful impact. That said, we know a strong culture is key to retaining and inspiring top talent, and we’re always listening and striving to improve. I encourage you to get involved. There are so many groups and initiatives at Sovos where employees can make their voices heard and help shape our culture. Whether through our Whole Living Committees or Elevate Employee Engagement groups, there are countless ways to make a meaningful impact. If you’d like to share additional feedback, my door is always open. Colleen Schlagel Chief Talent Officer

Pros

You can get a day off whenever you want, good local managers, 100% remote work and flexible hours.

Cons

While local managers and co-workers are helpful, I cannot say the same about upper management. Constant turnover, almost every month there is at least one big change. Even if you do your job very well, there is no guarantee that you will not be fired. We work with this possibility always in the back of our mind. Therefore you cannot think the possibility of promotion. No clear communication between upper management and employees.

Hello, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am pleased to hear that you are taking advantage of our flexible time off program and enjoy the ability to work from home. I also want to acknowledge that it is great to hear that our managers and your direct coworkers are supportive and helpful in a great time of change here at Sovos. With that, I see that you do not feel the same way about upper management and feel a lack of job security. We are in a period of time where change and adaptability are upon us, and we feel that, in order to support our partners, investors, and employees, we have needed to make meaningful change to our business for success. In simpler terms, some of our teams may not fit the mold we need to transform into in order to remain competitive in our market. Although we are making these adjustments, there is still an opportunity to grow within your role. I encourage you to speak with your direct manager or myself directly about career development opportunities we offer. We never like to lose team members, but we are investing more in people than we ever have in the company’s history. Additionally, I agree that communication can always be improved, and we are working on ways to stay more connected and ensure our teams are informed of all things Sovos in real time. Recognition is very important to us as well, and we will continue to highlight our top performers and project completions when we connect as an organization at large. I have just returned from our Sovos Global Sales Kick Off, and the feedback we’ve gotten from teams has been astoundingly positive and motivated for the opportunities ahead of us! I hope you can see what many of your teammates do. Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions or concerns as your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Alice Katwan - President, Revenue

Pros

Global and multicultural, which is fantastic in my opinion. Remote work is strong.

Cons

It used to have more focus on retention and engagement to get results and drive more revenue in, it has changed to a "cost-cut" policy no matter what.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We truly value feedback from our team members, and I'm glad to hear you appreciate our company culture and global presence. Our diverse teams indeed bring a wealth of perspectives, enriching our problem-solving and innovation processes. Regarding your concern about our focus on retention and engagement, I want to assure you that organizational changes are driven by a commitment to better meet the needs of our customers, employees, and partners. In a rapidly evolving industry, adaptation is key to success, and these changes are essential for our competitiveness and growth. We understand the importance of supporting our teams during these transitions. Our people are at the heart of Sovos. We fully understand that change can be challenging, and this kind of transformational change is not for everyone. We recognize that some employees may explore new opportunities, and while we're disappointed to see them go, we fully support their decisions and wish them well. We remain committed to evaluating and enhancing our support systems, and I'm here to discuss any further questions or concerns you may have.
