Pros

You get to know the highways of NJ very well if you don't work at HQ. Thinking is completely optional, because sales calls were based on a script. They have a training staff who does a great job of running multiple training courses a year to enforce the sales model is being followed.

Cons

There are several good reviews posted that are completely untrue. In the 2 years I worked there Mr. Softee never came. The perk points are only awarded if you sell above the 42% markup and 3% additional on the lease rates. The comp program is based on profit, which is about 20% of the total business written monthly.

Pros

Some really great service people, sales people, and internal support staff.

Cons

Top Management get bonuses at the expense of employees and customers. Top down leadership style. One size fits all strategies. One size fits all pricing. Micromanagement. They treated adults like children.'Closed door policy'' Could'n't question authority, period. First level managers were puppets expected to carry out top management's agenda. Input from field was forbidden. Departments were understaffed and over worked. Demanded a premium for sub par service performance in comparison to competition but didn't want to hear it. and employees paid for it.. Employees had to hear customer problems but couldn't solve them.because often they were management directives.Expectations of field people were high, but field people couldn't have expectations of management. Rewarded and promoted kiss ups.
