      Not a sales job at all

      This is the worst job ever, there are no pros

      The TM is the scapegoat of the entire organization. The company, in 100 years of business, has not figured out that you don’t make salespeople do admin work. Hours and hours of admin work every day that limit your ability to sell. The company is 20+ years behind in technology. Zero sales automation. Old systems. Dangerously old. They do not train the crews that install the products they sell. They are contractors. 1 in 4 crews are good and when an install doesn’t go well guess who’s to blame? You got it, the TM.

      A terrible “sales” job

      Pros

      It is a very good product that is generally respected nationally.

      Cons

      The company invests ZERO into technology improvements. Tons of manual processes. As a TM, you are required to do an incredible amount of administrative work while maintaining an aggressive quota. There is zero automation of tasks. Quote creation. Product Shipping. Monthly billing. Scheduling and Payment of the installation crews, etc all while being hounded daily about sales. The TM is the scape goat. The admins do very little yet they are worshipped. The organization as a whole is anti sales. They want the money but they don’t want to help you make the money. Awful sales job.

      make your own schedule, awesome clients, challenging work environment.

      Cons

      ripoff artists, greedy management, they don't pay you what you earned. They treat their contracted crew labor like dogs!
