Pros
At first it's great. The transition time when you start means you get roughly two weeks to do nothing. Its really easy to guess everyone's next move here, so no surprises is a pro. You will likely be smarter than your direct boss (in a line of about 5 bosses), so getting your way is pretty easy as well if you have a gift of gab. The chef is really good.
Cons
The company is one of the most dishonest, disloyal, and overall worst all around to work for. People who spent years building things there have been dropping like flies the second they question upper management. The company feigns interest in your ideas until they like them, in which case they become the companies ideas, and you will get no credit whatsoever, and you will watch as your boss tells the whole company about their great new idea. Management will very readily lie to your face and turn around and do the opposite. Beyond that, the tech stack is indeed a dumpster fire. The management is ever changing and makes no sense. Everyone walks on eggshells now so there is no more honesty. Everyone is scared for their job and therefore does slightly more than the bare minimum just to stay afloat.
