Autonomous Work Environment, Great Structure, Remote Working.
Pros
I enjoy working with Straight North with a balance of working autonomously (not micromanaged), but with plenty of support when needed. The workflows and SOPs are already in place, so you don't land in a position and then just put in work with no structure. That's always been difficult in similar positions I've had where nothing is tracked and everything is in limbo of accountability. The managers are easy to work with and give both positive reinforcement and direct instructions. They definitely have the employees backs when there needs to be pushback to clients. However we do give everything in scope for clients, so it's usually just keeping the clients aligned with realistic goals. Pay has been competitive since I started and can see clear growth within the company. I've been in the marketing world for 8 years and there are high paying jobs for this experience, but I didn't feel low-balled. Offering health insurance options, 401k matching, and providing equipment (and pretty awesome swag) helped in making up any difference as well.
Cons
There is a lot of work you can walk into the door getting into. If you don't have a lot of experience, it can be overwhelming, but it's a full workload when you are brought on.
