Pros

The interviewing and onboarding processes are fairly streamlined and provide a good sense of what the job will be like going in. All the materials you need to hit the ground running are provided. There's a good deal of flexibility with regards to making your own schedule, so long as it remains consistent week to week once you've set it (6+ hrs./wk. minimum). The company procures clients on your behalf which is realistically the main benefit.

Cons

Given the minimum requirements for the job (bachelor's degree and 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience), the compensation offered even after strong negotiation was quite poor. This is especially true in light of the non-compensated prep work the company requires (along with calls to parents etc.). I made more per hour as a freshman in college tutoring for the first time. While there is room for progression, it is quite slow. If compensation is your primary concern, working with a smaller company or attempting to source your own clients would probably be a better option.

Pros

I schedule my own hours. I don't have to do any advertising.

Cons

They take a large cut. Bad incentive mechanism. There are large jumps in cost scale with minimal gain in pay. Essentially, you are discouraged to continue working there as you get more experience. If you want to get paid more, you increase in a tier, but this leads to being way more costly to students, hence less hours.
