Pros

- good benefits The direct team I worked with had a great culture and cross-collaboration - Meet once a quarter in person for team bonding

Cons

- Lost leadership - Laid off 20% of employees and still announced in townhall that they have a strong financial position. Well if you do, then don't play with people's lives - No clear strategic vision - Not focused on current product gaps but more on creating new features to keep up with competition and hence coming out with half-baked products

Pros

Good benefits, pay, and work with some great team members

Cons

It has been an absolute nightmare the last few months. They preach about this amazing culture and values meanwhile employees are burnt out from upper management. The stress and anxiety that has came has lead to a depression. The culture has take a complete 180 and the rest of org doesn’t seem to realize but if you talk to any employee they are completely burnt out and have extreme stress. Do better for your people

Pros

The employees are enthusiastic about the work, the company has good perks, and the product is interesting and useful for customers.

Cons

One office is noisy and chaotic. We are promised a new office space but so far nothing. The business model is questionable. Focus has changed from conversions to user acquisition, which creates a dilemma for marketing and product. Successful products have been shelved because of delayed development and release of the main browser extension, so focus moves from things that are working to things that are not. Communication between teams and offices is labored. Management across teams is inconsistent. General management is usually counter-productive. The CEO is a micro-manager who has a poor grasp of detail. Nearly all of the people who work directly with the CEO end up switching managers or leaving the company, but the CEO still has broad managerial and hiring responsibilities. This creates a lot of friction and mistrust, making it difficult to improve the processes of the company.
