Pros

Swinerton is a great company that is dedicated raising the bar in the construction industry. We have great leaders with great vision and lead with integrity and respect. Swinerton believes in investing in its people through continuing education programs, annual training courses and workshops, mentorship programs, engineering rotation programs, and many more.

Cons

Some people can get burned out. Some people get promoted too quickly often leading to dysfunction.

Pros

Positive culture, Passionate people, Collaborative, Focused on excellence and improving construction productivity, Good teamwork and problem solving. Employee Owned - everyone benefits from Swinerton's strong performance.

Cons

My only cons is symptomatic to the construction industry as a whole and not specific to Swinerton; clients are demanding extremely aggressive schedules which in some instances leads to long-hours, craft overtime and work-life balance. I will say Swinerton encourages everyone to plan for and take their vacations.

Pros

I joined the company straight out of college and moved to a completely different state. I was greeted warmly with open arms and felt part of the "Family" straight away which was great. They've provided me with all the essentials I would need to be a contributing member of the team. Swineron knows that life isn't always about working. While at the company I've participated in multiple activities with colleagues such as community service events, team bonding events, and after work festivities. I've loved the company so much now that I've encourage multiple friends to look at career choices with Swinvrton. Swinerton or at least my division has always been transparent and that is always beneficial. Upper management support is also great.

Cons

The only two cons that I've seen is just a lack in communication to other project teams and the poor process of getting reimbursed for items (it's just a very complicated and long process).
