Looking for a new job

Pros

Good team at facility. Good facility.

Cons

Upper management is out of touch with day to day rehab issues. Salary is lower than area average. Productivity for evaluating therapists is ridiculous! Not possible to maintain while evaluating, supervising multiple assistants and rehab aides, completing paperwork.....The list is endless. Raises are pitiful! 1% for meeting/exceeding expectations! Job is full time, unless census is low, then have to use PTO. Difficult to use PTO because staff is small and help isn’t available, even though some managers are therapists! No bonus or comp time for having to work holidays or weekends. Rules apply to treating staff, but not managers. No recognition at all....PT, OT, ST months, anniversaries, holidays. Not even a thank you! Sad! Management does not value employees! We are replaceable!

Great place, great people

Pros

I just celebrated my 17 year anniversary of working at Symbria! What started out as "just a job" quickly turned into a career for me. The leadership team here truly cares about their employees which to me was apparent when we became an ESOP. If you are looking for a great place to work, I would highly recommend you take a look at Symbria!

It's difficult for me to come up with any cons!
