Remote work from home, equipment provided

Cons

Metrics are very difficult to keep up, unable to collect bonuses for good surveys since if one metric is not 98% Bonus is not achievable. Micromanagement nightmare, cosntantly herrassing with meetings about performance. Extremely stressfull Doesnnot provide holiday pay for full time employees Does not allow doctors notices when sick or ill. Very hard to get ahead. Stay away

Pros

they offer paid training at the beginning of your sign on.

Cons

the schedule they offer you at sign on is not the one you will actually get to keep. the level of professionalism and preparation for each training class is very lacking in the company. extremely high turnover rate! trainers do not coordinate with each other. constant change in trainers, mentors, supervisors and which team that you are placed on. HR is non responsive. hired on for work from home but they can and will force employees to change to working in office permanently without warning.

Pros

Room to move up if you're motivated to work on increasingly complex problems presented by customers calling in or escalated to your line. Non-competitive team environment allowing us to relax a little bit more than other call-center type jobs.

Cons

Management focuses too much on Average Handle Time as a critical business metric, forcing us to make a habit of rushing through calls and sometimes ignoring smaller customer issues. Of course rushing things is against customer treatment policies but we have no choice but to handle many of our calls in this manner to match expected average. Pay is certainly better than the minimum wage but as you move up the ladder you definitely feel like you're owed more than what you are actually given. Work/Life balance can be a real struggle with the shift bidding system that is currently in place. While you get a large variety of schedules to "choose" from, you have to rank them from most wanted to least wanted and there are a lot you have to rank depending on your performance ranking. There were even times where my selections were ignored and i was told i would be keeping my current schedule. (which i desperately needed to change for health reasons)
