location near home is less then one hour

Cons

No department communications in safety meeting-all hands; no respect to employees from management and corporate office, corporate office expects employees in Rhode Island office staff, to spoon feed information to executives and other employees in corporate that make more money when they do not know the software themselves. Employees in Rhode Island speak as if their in a trailer park. If your not with management or corporate your not included. Only executive can work from home access, their is no employee career advancement. If your interested in leaving departments they will not help you and expand in other avenues with in the same company.

Pros

I have worked with TPI for 1 year and I truly love the opportunities that I have had with the company in such a short amount of time. I am able to assist the associates with their career goals, recognition and community contacts. I am also able to be out in the community helping to provide TPI with a positive outlook in the development of local projects such as fundraising, housing and transportation. I am very excited for what the future holds for wind energy and TPI Composites. TPI become a public company in July of 2016 and I am very excited to see what that will bring to Newton, IA.

Cons

I am not sure that I have any items that are negative with TPI. The associates and community have been welcoming and friendly with all of our events and activities. I also hope that TPI can move towards a more work/ life flexible platform so we have more opportunity to work from home when needed.
