Pros

You get to work with lots of talented, passionate and creative people. Great co-workers. Laid back environment and quarterly bonuses (if you work hard at it).

Cons

Outdated corporate culture. High-ups don't care about who work under them. You get little professional development and company makes quick and unthoughtful decisions that don't consider their employees as a whole. Too busy trying to play catch up in the industry because of their slow ways of doing things. Don't value opinions and ideas of others unless it's good enough for managers to get the credit and pass it over as their own.

Pros

competitive pay for SMs flexible scheduling freedom of self expression you get to be a personal stylist its truly a fun job, until you get to the operational side of things

Cons

unexplained payroll grid drops (stores not given enough hours to accommodate management teams) astronomical increase in work (doing the job of 4+ people with not enough hours) everything we have to do is IBC (in between customers.. i.e. marketing, markdowns, floor sets, shipment, promo updates 3 times a week, Bopis, SFS, scheduling, etc. etc.) Management is pushed and squeeze until they run on empty, and then are pushed even further. Corp is too hands on as far as in store operations are concerned and very very much out of touch, weekly feedback is ignored by corporate schedule is made on Tuesdays for upcoming week (6day notice to schedule posting)
