It's a startup. There's a ton of new things to learn and problems to solve and you get exposed to a very wide variety of engineering problems and technology you don't usually get at bigger companies. This ultimately leads to more rewarding work and having a bigger impact on the product as a whole. Every engineer, from the most junior to the most senior, can change the course of a feature with a good idea. There's a focus on rapid iteration and rapid development, a sort of 'get it done' culture. Even though it's a startup, Trovata has solid financial backing in the form of one of the largest multinational banks, JP Morgan Chase as well as other VC investors.

Getting from day 1 to committing code to master was a totally seamless on-boarding experience. I've been doing the most challenging work of my career, and I've had a solid path to contributing to architecture, design, as well as product strategy. My manager is awesome, and spends time working directly with me on developing my career and contribution to the team. I've also had significant opportunity to explore new tools and languages on the job which has been used directly in the product that we are building. I just can't imagine a better combination of job fit and career growth opportunity.
