Pros

Amazing people - life long friends have been met here, and I haven't scratched the surface of meeting all the amazing people employed here Collaboration - Operations working more closely with field team / product / go-to-market Lots of change in a short period of time - ripping off the bandaid hurts, but the most efficient way to move fast in an evolving automotive industry. Career Development - L&D opportunities along with professional career coaching through a preferred vendor Paid for internet/phone, amazing health benefits, amazing PTO work life balance policy, compensation is top notch

Cons

The necessary evil to more collaboration is more meetings A multitude of platforms/applications that people work out of do not cross over to other platforms/applications that other departments work out of. Overcomplicated tech stack for our overcomplicated (historic) billing models, but now we are simplifying, so the future looks bright!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We sincerely appreciate you sharing your thoughts on where you think TrueCar is succeeding and where there are opportunities for improvement. We’re thrilled to hear you have fortified some strong friendships at TrueCar and continue to build community at work. As far as internal meetings, we are evaluating hygiene and etiquette and devising a best practices approach to meetings, which we’ll pilot with specific teams and then roll out to the entire organization. Furthermore, we continue to focus on having a culture that is highly focused on employee engagement, performance and recognition.

Pros

Good HR and internal communkcation

Cons

Bad medical and dental plans. Vision plan is just a name (optics promo was cheaper than using them) Remote policy will work you 12 hours a day. Every one works after hours.

We appreciate your feedback, however, we offer a very competitive benefits package. TrueCar covers the cost of employee medical, dental, and vision at 100%, and subsidizes the other coverage tiers at approximately 90%, which is extremely competitive. We review our benefits plans on an annual basis to ensure they remain competitive and continue to meet employees and their families needs. Furthermore, we are a people-centric organization and care deeply about employee wellbeing. If you find yourself struggling with work life balance, we encourage you to speak to your direct manager and/or your People Business Partner to find a solution to achieving a better work balance.
