Pros

Great work life balance and ability to work remotely. Frequently rewarding employees with nice gifts and other perks. Leadership is very friendly. Annual company in person events for each department is nice when you are fully remote.

Cons

It can feel as some targets are often too lofty and there has been some restructuring as business plans change.

Pros

Very involved management & executive teams! No square pegs in round holes here! Each employee's expertise is not only expected, but noticed as it evolves into more! Proud to be a part of such a goal-driven, intelligent group of professionals. They also respect your personal life with flexible hours, holidays, & perks! They truly seem to care about your well-being.

Cons

Not the job for someone who needs constant pushing or motivating. You have to have the natural drive for more in order for this to work for you.

Poor Leadership

Pros

People, pay, benefits, perks, are wonderful

Cons

Leadership has zero vision or business plan. They throw spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks and have no loyalty to the business, the board, employees, or shareholders. It's an entire team from a failed company Leaf Group who can't figure out how to grow revenue and so instead focus on removing headcount to improve EBITDA margins. They are also extreme micromanagers who do not value employee work-life-balance which I believe is a mechanism to make themselves feel competent given their extremely poor performance as an executive team, and to cast blame on others. They have essentially laid off almost every smart, talented, and tenured employee. The board is also extremely poor as you can see from the overall stock price over the last 7 years.
