Pros

I really like the day-to-day work here. The people are nice and the work isn't boring or monotonous. There are a tremendous amount of opportunities, so it is up to you to seek them out and make things happen. The culture is great and lends itself to supporting your community and non-profits you believe in. This seems to come from the top down, as management is involved with many charities so there is a culture fostered or involvement with non-profits.

Cons

The company is large, so it does take some effort to really find and connect with people to build strong relationships with your colleagues.

Pros

the people you work with are fantastic and I made really great connections while there. you get exposed to different practice areas which is cool, but becomes out of necessity to hit billing targets. exposure to media if you want it.

Cons

constantly having to beg for work to hit billing targets and if you don't get the work, you're blamed for not working enough. there is no work life balance, as you're expected to hit the billing targets every day, which often means staying super late to get work done, even if you don't have any to do. the firm doesn't care about your wins or losses, they just care about how much money you make them. all of the managers, including the CEO, have alluded to engaging in unethical billing practices. attorneys are forced to find work on cases to do just so that you can bill. its a toxic work culture and mental health is not a priority. the founding partner says inappropriate things during team meetings and makes everyone uncomfortable. the pay is horrible, especially for the amount of work you're expected to do. support staff are seriously overworked and overlooked. daily metrics tracking your hours. expect to have endless conversations with non-attorneys about your billing and why you aren't hitting targets, even if you're just slightly below. overall seriously do not recommend.

Pros

Bagel Wednesday They give you a cheap Tully Rinckey Jacket There is a snack bar (no its not free you have to pay for the snacks) I hope you like hot muggy offices

Cons

This company is a breeding ground for unethical behavior, misogyny, and blatant favoritism. They knowingly kept a sexual harasser—an attorney—on staff even after multiple formal complaints. Protecting attorneys, no matter how harmful or inappropriate, takes precedence over protecting employees. Meanwhile, Legal Support Staff are treated as disposable labor, expected to clean up attorneys’ messes and take the fall when things go wrong. LSS are grossly overworked and constantly disrespected. I was once expected to support nine attorneys in a single day. You’re frequently forced to act as a debt collector or manage overdrawn retainers that attorneys mishandled—yet they face no consequences. If you’re not one of management’s favorites, even minor miscommunications (often caused by attorneys) will be weaponized against you. To make matters worse, Legal Support Staff are expected to clean the kitchen and drive 10 minutes after hours just to drop off the office mail—completely unacknowledged. It’s beyond degrading. This company is steeped in gender bias. Male employees can spend the entire day on their phones with zero pushback, while female employees are micromanaged and punished over the smallest perceived issues. If you bring up concerns about workload, pay, or professional development, you’ll be ignored. This isn’t just a toxic workplace—it’s an environment that thrives on exploitation, inequality, and silence. If you value your mental health, career growth, or basic dignity—run.
