Pros

Amenities/facilities, 401k, Work @ hm option (if "qualified"), free Insurance License

Cons

Front line managers lose touch with what the job actually is & only focus on hidden high pressure sales metrics. For the amount of referrals expected, the pay REALLY sucks. Financial Security means buy all of USAA's products, even if you don't want/need/can afford them. Keep in mind, most of the newer members are newly accepted young military members that really don't make that much.

Pros

Excellent pay. On site gym. Covered parking. Secure facilities. On site Starbucks, Sandella's, Blue Sky Cafe, and Company Store

Cons

The 'relationship sales' environment has taken over seemingly every call center position within USAA. As a Member Relationship Specialist II, I was providing technical support for members who were experiencing problems on their computers while using our website or mobile apps. To expect someone in my position to try to sell someone on the idea of, say, life insurance is pretty ridiculous. Members did not respond well, and the Website Support department has been outsourced since.

Pros

Everything is located right there, I never have to leave.

Cons

Rigid dress code. Strict on time cards.
