Pros

Great benefits Met lots of great talented, people Very fun team outings

Cons

The below is only for EMEA: From a cultural standpoint- I worked for UT for a number of months and was very disappointed with how the leadership team handled various harassment cases. The sales team is predominantly all male whilst the solutions consultant team is predominately female, there is no balance. A member in leadership has been using his stature to continuously sexually harass and making women feel uncomfortable without any repercussions even AFTER it was voiced to the rest of the org. From a product standpoint- It is a very hard product to sell as you’re in complete mercy of the panel. Because each panelist is 1st party validated (vetted by a human), it is difficult to get panelists in other countries other than english-speaking countries when the people vetting each panelist only speak English! This means you will struggle to sell UT’s value to non-english speaking countries (ie Germany, France etc).

Company values are nothing more than empty promises

Pros

The team I worked in was well oiled, with clear communication and handled role delegation and task management appropriately. I was thoroughly onboarded into the team, and was given a wide network of resources to get up to par with my product knowledge.

Cons

The way the company handled the merger/acquisition and subsuquent redundancies was akin to a horror movie. For a company that prided itself on 'being kind', keeping an entire body of nearly 1000 on edge for months with the looming possibility of being made redundant and doing absolutely nothing to promote moral was definitely not in line with the company values. The work culture shifted considerably from day 1 of the merger, with a lot of people across all levels of seniority being kept in the dark.

Pros

- Talented researchers (or whatever is left of them) - Nice offices - Some remote working (1day per week max, not every week) is allowed

Cons

- Very low people retention - Management is poor and inexperienced - Salaries below the market average - No training provided - US-based HR is unaware of UK procedures and legislation.
