Pros

Culture, work-life balance, transparency, food/snacks, etc. This is a fantastic place to work at. The culture is amazing and the people supporting it are second to none. UT is genuinely one of the nicest companies you can work for because of the people. They pay well, they always think ahead and are extremely supportive of the employees. I've worked for companies large and small, old and really old. The experience I've had in my first few months at UT have changed my life. It's just a happy place to be at and you can feel it interacting with the other folks. From a longevity and success standpoint you can just feel the excitement both internally and from UTs customers about the product, the market and the fit. This company will go far, and I have no doubts it will do so in the right way. A LOT of the reviews on here are from the panelists (testers) - who aren't real UT employees. And even then - this is an assumption so take it with a grain of salt - they're the ones that lie to get paid for tests they don't qualify for. As for the other reviews - those from people who worked (or are working) here: they're entitled to their opinions. I just totally disagree with their views. The company responds to them on this channel so that should tell you the level to which UT cares, and its willingness to listen.

Cons

Its a high growth company. Things shift and change and with that comes uncertainty. I wont beat around the bush - its hard. A lot is asked of the employees and people need to be flexible enough to adapt to change which is a constant at a company at this stage. Benefits could be slightly better but I believe its at market compared to others. Lastly - tools/apps. Use way too many of them. Consolidate some of that.

Pros

- good colleagues who are all interested in working hard and playing harder, fun, collaborative

Cons

- the real job doesn’t match the expectations set in the interview - it’s less about performance and more about who knows who - too much play - lack of the basic processes and tools needed to be successful at your job. HR processes need the most improvement - lack of teamwork and collaboration between country teams. There is a clear power struggle where geographical team runs over other country teams - Senior management lacks honesty and transparency as they say one thing and do something else - being a leader in this company is fraught as it’s like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. The direct reports throw the manager under the bus and the managers manager doesn’t support or trust the manager to know that the direct report is saving their own skin due to performance issues.

Pros

Easy product to sell. Because its literally a recorded video review. Not so much "technology" sale. Some nice people that want to help. Work from home.

Cons

CRO talks a big game on transparency, openness, and culture of team. Yet the minute and give honest feedback that HE asked for, he reprimands them. CRO also doesn't have much respect from the ranks. He doesnt/cant much value to senior/seasoned sales professionals. Kind of a weird disjointed sales culture for such a small company. Product is a 1 trick pony and competitors have caught up to them. I dont see how they can expand with additional products. No territory analysis for incoming AE's. They wing it and it shows. Most accounts have been oversold.

We’re all sad to see your review of your brief experience working on the UT Sales team. It sounds like what we’ve put together didn’t work for what you wanted to sell and how you wanted to be managed - and that happens. We do wish you well for the future and know that different environments work for different people, so we hope you find that place. Our sales team has overachieved for the past two years and kept their voluntary turnover rate under 5% because of that success. We’re all guessing this just wasn’t the right place for you and hoping it is the right place for the others on the sales team. Regardless, I’ll be discussing your comments with the CRO because we can all #get better.
