My colleagues are lovely and supportive

Cons

Lack of care for faculty work/life balance. Lack of opportunity for advancement and lack of support for professional development to advance if you are not tenured or on the tenure track. Salaries are underwhelming and there are many disparities between the salaries paid to male professors vs. Female professors.

Free bus & train transportation for staff.

Cons

Most minority group and international faculties aren't welcome AT ALL, they will frustrate you to leave. Let me not talk about the alarming attitude of the HR department to foreigners. The school is not SERIOUS about diversity, equity & inclusion. You will be depressed working here. Same applies to minority students too, you will regret coming to UVU. STAY AWAY
