Thank you for your feedback and for the time you spent at VEG. We’re happy you had a positive experience with your team and always love hearing how much our VEGgies love working together. Managers play an important role for our VEGgies, so your feedback is really important as we continue to help them grow and develop. Even though you’ve moved on, we’d be happy to discuss any issues further so we can improve the experience for future VEGgies. Please reach out to stephaniedemars@veg.vet.

Pros

Good PTO benefits. You can bring your dog to the office with you. Hybrid work schedule (WFM on Fridays)

Cons

It gives you a good impression at 1st, They claim to want to foster an environment of "togetherness" but that goes out the window soon after. At least in the dept, I was in, it was very clicky, During training, I experienced a condescending attitude from specific people and I became uncomfortable with asking questions. They are working on automating most of the work, this is good and bad, as it eases some of the work, but there will likely be no job security, on top of a not a very welcoming work environment for growth.

Feeling respected, supported, and comfortable asking questions as a new hire is essential, and what you’ve described is not the environment we strive to create. If you’re open to it, we encourage you to connect with your People Partner or share your feedback anonymously through All Voices, so we can better understand what’s happening and work toward meaningful improvement.
