Growing Company

Pros

Having transferred from another company, the CEO and COO have inquired on numerous occasions about my experience and if there are any issues they should be aware of to improve my experience. They take a genuine and personal interest in the well-being of their employees. The company is growth oriented with exceptional opportunities for growth, both personally and professionally. The work is environment is challenging and is not for those seeking complacency. As a company, management only seeks the most skilled, qualified resources and this is evident by the quality of the service provided to their customers. If you like to be challenged and engaged, this is a great place to work.

Cons

Not for those seeking complacency or adverse to begin challenge, but that's not really a con.

Pros

1.) Technically Challenging, varied work. Most likely, you would work on more than one project which will provide you with varied work assignments and different types of people to work with. 2.) Responsive to issues that arise. One example is the network and network components were updated to alleviate problems and increase efficiency. 3.) The owners are constantly looking for new projects and contracts. They have kept to their statement of moving valuable employee's to a different project, when applicable, as opposed to just letting them go. 4.) With VPN, the company allows remote and part time remote employees. 5.) The medical insurance is very good. A $5,000 annual Dental limit is a first for me. 6.) Last but not least, there are some very seasoned and experienced Contract Professionals working here.

Cons

In my opinion, a con for some. If you are looking for one of those jobs where you have 4 to 8 hours of work each month to complete, VSolvit is probably not for you.

Pros

The business is growing which provides unlimited opportunity for growth. Senior Team fosters career growth throughout all levels of the business. Even though the business has grown rapidly, there is still a family oriented, small business feel throughout. Hard working, dedicated leadership team leads by example

Cons

Expectations are very high - which can be good and bad Environment can be chaotic due to nature of business

Appreciate your candid feedback, and particularly the comment on high expectations. Unfortunately, to be clear, we as management do NOT expect to lower the bar on demanding high performance. This higher performance expectation factor can be a tremendously effective self-selection filter :) Further, we are planning to reduce the chaotic nature by adding more staff members, and greater adherence to the process. However, due to the relative unpredictability of the Business Development, some Chaos can be expected.
