Pros

Work remote 2 days a week. Good benefits

Cons

Insulting merit raises - despite being an exemplary employee with excellent reviews, my raise was an insulting 99 cents per hour. Never does cost of living income adjustments. Does not allow fully remote work, even for crew with legitimate health issues. Constant propaganda about how great they are despite the constant complaints we receive for bad technology and poor customer service. Current CEO and C-Suite only care about profits, no longer care about people. This is not the same company I started with a decade ago. Now we are treated like cogs.

Pros

They’re really good at getting you through licensing. Benefits are relatively cheap.

Cons

Work/life balance Salary Year end merit increases did not cover inflation Delaying company wide pulse check survey from February 2022 to August 2022 after announcing Return to Office date in March 2022. The survey will also be after the partnership bonus payout. Work load increased exponentially during COVID and when it was expressed that we needed help and more headcount, we were gaslit told that everyone in compliance was struggling with workload. Requiring crew members/employees to go back into the office. There is a MASSIVE disconnect between Senior Management and the actual crew members/employees who make the company run. Way too many “Yes men” in management positions. There’s a huge pay discrepancy between the lifers and millennials. Doing the same, exact job as other people who are getting paid $30k-$60k more than you is demoralizing and harmful.

Pros

I am sad to say that the only pro anymore is the benefits offered by Vanguard

Cons

Instead of improving and moving in the right direction, we are crumbling as a company. Issues with anything and everything, constant errors-for both customers and employees. It is awful being on the front line experiencing all the problems. It is tolling to take the heat from customers (who are understandably upset) for problems being caused elsewhere-SO many errors. Errors of course happen, but not every day like it consistently has been. Why? Part of the reason is because vanguard is compromising the training programs, pushing people forward without the complete proper training. Why else? TECHNOLOGY. Vanguard has the worst and if we spent that much money for what was created? BOOOOOOOOO. After many years of working for Vanguard, I am so sad to see what it’s come to- between the non stop issues vanguard puts on our plate and how they CONTINUE to burnout their employees(MANDATORY OVERTIME AND CUT LUNCHES because employees have no say about this)- I won’t recommend this place to anyone because frankly-it sucks.
