Pros

- Great colleagues - Great support from (most) middle management - Amazing benefits

Cons

- Amazing benefits are literally golden handcuffs - Pay is way too low for the amount of work you do - Mission statements/company values are BS (you are expected to abide by them, but nobody in upper leadership does) - Executive team... everything about them is fake and cringy -they only care about lining their own pockets - Anyone in middle management or below is severely undervalued and treated as they are replaceable - What started out as a great culture turned into meeting unrealistic deadlines and then being made to feel bad when teams obviously couldn't hit them

Pros

90% health insurance coverage Great coworkers

Cons

Terrible Management who at times aren't in your area Company recently got bought out by a Private Equity firm. When in all hands employees addressed their concern and how we will move on when moral is low, CEO responded with "Like we always do." The company boasted about wfh, but went back on that. No real career growth. Unless you work in the xlab team, Maxar doesn't care about you

Pros

Teams have smart, talented, committed people who are great to work with. Middle managers and directors are doing their best in a challenging environment.

Cons

Senior leadership doesn't act out company values. The CEO seems not to care about his employees, and the ELT makes short-sighted decisions based on politics and short-term cost savings rather than considering the impact on employees.Management hires from FAANG companies are changing company culture, and not for the better.
