Pros

Good lower level management and friendly co-workers

Cons

I have been with the company for over 15 years and have mostly enjoyed it up until the past few years. If you read reviews in the past vs today I think you will understand why. After allowing for flexibility throughout the pandemic and promising many employees that they can work hybrid or fully remote they quickly and aggressively changed their minds. They have forced all employees to report to the closest facility 5 days a week. They are tracking your badges and threatening workers to comply or else. I have seen a lot of change within the company during my time here, but enough is enough. We are losing great employees DAILY because of the toxic environment created by senior leadership.

Thank you for your feedback. It is essential for our company’s evolution. We understand that times of transition can be difficult, and hope that all of us working together will create the company performance needed to remain an industry leader. Monitoring office badge scans is one approach that helps ensure both employee safety and business performance. For additional concerns, please continue collaboration with your manager or reach out to our human resources team via Vertiv@glassdoor.com.

Pros

It pays the bills and coworkers are great.

Cons

You can't trust the upper management to keep their agreements and promises with employees or provide any kind of bonus or act of appreciation (buy lunch, company picnic etc.) for hard work or great results unless you count the constant "Thank you, we couldn't have done it without you" pandering.

Pros

Good Salaries Decent Benefits Good Legacy Products Great People (the worker bees)

Cons

Uncaring and toxic culture. You are not treated as a person, just a number. Vertiv was bought out by a private equity company and the only thing that matters is EBITDAR. They have had multiple layoffs in an attempt to make the bottom line look good. No job is safe except at the VP and Executive levels where they continue recruiting. In the five years I have been here, there has been no investment in people, technology, and tools. And since the private equity take-over, many good people were laid off or left. Attrition is occurring and they do not replace people. Those left are expected to pick up the slack.
