      Sales Manager who has made some good $ here at Virtusa and can't wait to leave! !

      Pros

      - complex value prop w/ many solutions to offer the customer - many verticals to slice and dice the marketplace - exciting vision for growing the company across the nxt few yrs

      Cons

      - management is so confused on the sales process and incredibly divided on how to go to market. None of the execs agree upon the best Sales approach. It is the most confused organization I have ever seen. - The wrong marketing and sales leaders are in charge.... and they've let all the top Sales and mgmt talent go to their competitors.... and now that Virtusa is struggling.... they are trying to hire that same talent back and it is too late! - my advice... do NOT work here... regardless of the amount of money they throw at you! The turnover is ridiculous... mgmt is confused... they over work and under recognize... and each vertical biz unit acts independently of each other. It is a very caustic environment... and this is coming from a sales Mgr who has achieved great success here!

      Pros

      I get payed If i am on or off a project so it is better then free lance in that regard. Can work remotely.

      Cons

      Very slow growth. Often have to live out of a hotel for weeks at a time when on a project. very annoying to get expense reports done to get my money from travel back. Never have me do the work that i find interesting. slow growth, does not have me on the path i want to be on. They are lies I have had to lie to clients for them. Salary is much lower then industry standards. I feel the team in India is taken advantage of.
