-Flexible work schedule -Opportunity to meet great people who work under DOC.

Cons

High stress job due to the expectation that you lead the MH department while also working as a clinician on your team . This slowly turned into functioning mostly as a clinician and not having the ability to fully utilize supervisory skills and capabilities you were hired for . The work culture is toxic and there are unrealistic expectations placed on you by upper management and those you supervise. Lots of scapegoating and bully behavior by other staff in the department.Not much room for advancement.

Most of the positive reviews are from corporate and regional. Emoyees at the sites are treated poorly. -Micromanaged -Toxic and hostile site supervisors and unprofessionalism across the board -Site employees are not protected, regional directors support the site supervisors at any cost -Low pay for the amount of duties and responsibilities given -The company will do anything to screw its employees for the sake of saving a dime -Takes forever to accrue any PTO or Sick Time -Payroll consistently messes up and ridicules you before hesitantly correcting any mistake THEY made
