Pros

Referring to a call center that we staff: Early release in the evenings if the workload is low, GREAT team environment, relaxed clothing requirements, unrestricted access to the Internet, and knowledgeable management and L3 (senior) techs, understanding of military (reserve) obligations.

Cons

Referring to a call center that we staff: Horrible time-off policy (must request 2 months in advance, and it is usually denied), very strict late-policy (one minute late is unacceptable), inadequate time to work through customer issues.

Great place to start a careerm but don't linger

Pros

If you are looking for a way to make your entry into technical recruiting and need an easy way in, Volt is a great place to start.

Cons

They do not pay recruiters as well as other companies in the industry. They would rather hire someone for very low base, give a token bonus and hope for the best. Regarding the bonus, management is not open as to how the monthly bonus compensation is calculated. You have to take their word that you are getting a fair share. Also, if you are among the *insiders* you get much more than anyone else even if you are incompetent. Sometimes promotion decisions seem to made based on looks vs ability, or that a key person planning to leave the company.

Great way to gain initial experience in a new field.

Cons

Non permanent employment. The benefints arent great, but they are ok. It is a temp agency, it is what it is.
