Pros

The company is being mismanaged and driven into the ground.

Cons

The unsuccessful reorganization has resulted in an influx of inexperienced, unmotivated, unqualified managers who refuse to undergo training. These individuals do not align with the organization's vision, undermine senior management and staff, feign productivity while micromanaging, and exhaust dedicated employees. Managers, if you are unhappy watching your teams grow and flourish and feel insecure when talented employees are appreciated, you are not the right person for this job. Remember, being a manager isn't all about you. How some managers treat their team is well known and contributes to the low morale. Potential new hires, don't fall for the hypocrisy and lies during your interview. Deceitful managers must be dismissed.

Pros

Bright colleagues, sometimes very interesting projects, location has a gym and nature trail

Cons

There has been a drastic shift after the re-organization: portfolios are siloed, which encourages competition instead of collaboration. It is very disheartening to see other teams receive resources while having yours taken away. Management not only doesn’t talk to each other, frequently using their employees as middle men, but can be out of control. Of the same token, management has to do their job: I haven’t had my last two quarter check ins and no one has mentioned this upcoming one, and the quarter ends tomorrow. How are we supposed to grow and learn without this necessary effort by our managers? Management sets the tone for the team and many teams are in various states or despair because of this. I have never seen morale so incredibly low. Reasons include the fact that they are competing with their colleagues, have not received a raise but see new hires often, there isn’t transparency on salaries when jobs are posted leading to a feeling of being underpaid if waters is hiding that information, being micromanaged, not having ownership of projects, not feeling appreciated because there is no celebration after launch - but seeing other teams receiving this kind of benefit. There is a general feeling of loyalty not being rewarded but being spit on, and finally, HR being invisible, inaccessible, and often quite unhelpful. I wasn’t going to leave a review but seeing HR comment on these and encouraging people to seek their HR manager is laughable. If you’re reading this: WHO ARE YOU? No one knows who their HR rep is, even the organization chart makes it difficult. With so many people remote you can’t even find people on site. Make yourselves known, be recognizable walking around the cafeteria and hallways, be friendly, be helpful.

Pros

I wish I could lie through my teeth like some of the recent reviews

Cons

I refuse to stay silent any longer. Despite the company's toxic work culture, lack of transparency, and unequal pay, I have held back from leaving a review. However, the recent fake reviews by HR have pushed me to speak out. There are no bonuses or pay raises for deserving employees, while those from Wyatt, the acquired company, receive hefty compensation. Moreover, frequent layoffs with generous severance packages have created an atmosphere of constant fear and uncertainty. It's imperative to bring attention to these issues. There is no career path and no transparent promotion opportunities. While your performance will be considered in performance reviews, promotions are decided through different criteria. Many people are ready to leave for this exact reason, even after many years of dedicated work, without any mention of promotion despite being assigned multiple projects.

Thank you for your feedback. Compensation is a complex matter, comprised of various elements like base salary, short-term incentives (STI), long-term incentives (LTI), benefits, pensions, and more. This complexity can make individual comparisons challenging. We encourage you to have a discussion with your manager about your career path and the feedback you have.
