Many positive changes

Pros

A whole new management team was brought it. Out with old in with the new. This has resulted in lots of positive changes, cultural shift and better investment in the people. Lots of active work working on the business now. There are a lot of long tenured employees here. They deserve a medal for sticking it our years prior. Products are cool. Great insurance.

Cons

Still has remnants of the "old school" mentality. Little to no flexibility with schedule. Tend to micromanage people's comes and goings regardless of work quality and output. Doesn't promote trust. Low vacation, no sick time.

the money is competitive in certain departments.

Cons

Where I worked it was exceptionally dirty, shoveling wet concrete was literally a daily occurance and your washing machine will not appreciate concrete soaked clothes. Favoritism is the name of the game here and as a new hire your word carries less weight than everyone else and management will behave as such.
