Supportive culture, but unsustainable workload and unrealistic expectations

Pros

The people are genuinely great to work with, and the culture is one of the strongest aspects of the company. Coworkers are supportive, collaborative, and always willing to help when needed. The CEO is friendly, approachable, and seems to care about employees, which creates a positive work environment.

Cons

The workload is overwhelming and often feels unsustainable. Expectations can be unrealistic given the volume of work and available resources. Work-life balance is difficult to maintain, and the company no longer offers many of the perks that once made it stand out. Management often feels disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the job and may not fully understand the challenges faced by frontline employees, resulting in decisions that can feel overly metric-driven rather than practical.

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and for the kind words about the team and the culture. That part means a lot to me, because the people here are the whole reason any of this works. On the workload and the expectations, I hear you. I'm not going to pretend we have it all figured out. We're a small company trying to grow into something that lasts, and a lot of my focus right now is landing on the right metrics to run a sustainable business. Part of being honest with you is admitting we've been pretty lax in some areas up to this point, and getting the full team operating at capacity is how we stay healthy and keep growing. Sustainable has to work both ways though, and burning people out is not the goal. We're working on it. If something feels off, please bring it to your lead or manager so we can actually work through it together. And my door is always open. If you ever want to come to me directly, I mean that. Seth

Pros

Working here as a Nurse Care Manager has been an incredible experience. It is a small but rapidly growing company that is doing amazing, innovative things in the healthcare field through Chronic Care Management (CCM) and remote monitoring. The culture is fantastic—it's an intimate, close-knit group where you truly get to know everyone, and the leadership team is incredibly accessible. It is rare to find a place where you get to meet with the CEO regularly and feel like your voice is genuinely heard. On top of that, the management team is very supportive and easy to work with, the hours are highly flexible, and the pay and benefits package is great. It is highly rewarding work with an excellent work-life balance. Excellent patient care is non-negotiable. We love our patients!

Cons

Because we are a growing company doing big things, workflows and processes can evolve quickly as we scale. You just have to be comfortable adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment, but management supports you every step of the way.
