Pros

Good benefits package, free parking and water.

Cons

Outside of the good benefits package and focus on living a healthy lifestyle, this organization is a disaster in every direction you look. Extremely high turnover and toxic leadership that trickles down to each employee. Don't be fooled by bells and whistles they may pitch you if you interview here. It's all smoke and mirrors until your first week when you realize you made a big mistake taking the job. The turnover is not due to their industry, their turnover is due to poor leadership and treating people like robots with no compassion or empathy for those who work so hard for their organization. This is masked by Facebook posts of glory and amazing housing and residents, but their employees are the ones who really suffer and none of that is seen until you take a job here. Read all the other negative reviews, you will hear a similar theme. Those who post anything positive are likely upper management who are the ones doing all the ugly behavior to those underneath them, or to try to salvage their laughable reputation. By far the worst job I have ever had and biggest career mistake I ever made. Find a work environment where you aren't just a number, your opinions matter, you have career advancement opportunities and you are treated like an actual human. Do your research and talk to those who work there or who have left. If you want any respect or career path, keep looking elsewhere. They should be embarrassed how awful they have treated so many good people who have worked so hard for them. Shame on you. As a Christian organization, don't forget who is watching and hearing your every lie and mistreatment of actual human beings. Those of us who were fired or quit know the truth of your leadership behavior....and it's a lot of us growing by the week.

Pros

Guided by Christian compassion, this company really does support the independence, health and well-being of older adults wherever they call home. My experience has been that this company not only cares for their clients, but their team members as well. I have personally been encouraged, supported and inspired by those that I work with.

Cons

Healthcare is a competitive industry. I've seen some team members take for granted how well we have it, try other companies then apply to come back once they realize what they left was actually very good.
